- Hi!I am Girija, a teacher by profession,a poet and writer at heart, and an environmentalist by committment.I feel that i owe everything to the environment that was instrumental in making me what i am.there is a deep sense of sadness, regret, anger and helplessness in me because i feel there are a lot of things that happen around us should not be happening, and a lot of persons responsible for setting the wrongs right are not taking their jobs seriously.i would like to invite all those who feel the same to share their views on issues that generate ANGST! Recently I have written a book entitled Meraki:An Unusual Travelogue. It is an account of a little girl's journey through life, her trials and triumphs, her joy and angst, and her take on life as she looks back 55 years later as a grown up person.
